Has anyone planted Pear trees in NY ? If so where did you buy your trees and tell about your preperation, Thanks. I am considering planting pears in the woods so I kinda want to get first hand knowledge from someone who has done it .

There was an article on buckmasters.com last week about pears for deer. Don't remember how I stumbled across it but there was a link to the nursery referenced in the article: http://www.deerpear.com/page7.html Think they're over in Louisiana but there's alot of useful info. here.
