Last year GAMO Adult Precision Airguns turned the airgun industry on its ear with the world’s first 10-shot break barrel air rifle, the Swarm Maxxim. For 2018 the company propels the technology even farther with the new Swarm Magnum, a 10-shot .22 caliber air rifle that achieves tremendous velocities.
The Swarm Magnum achieves speeds of 1,300 feet per second via the IGT Mach 1 technology. IGT Mach 1 replaces the standard spring powerplant with an Inert Gas Cylinder. The Mach 1’s cylinder measures a whopping 33mm to deliver top-flight velocity that results in more terminal impact downrange.
And, there’s that little issue of 10-shot capabilities. The detachable magazine allows the shooter to load 10 pellets, then rip through them as fast as he or she can break the barrel and pull the trigger.
Other features include: Whisper Fusion noise-dampening technology to quieten the report, the RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail), a CAT (Custom Action Trigger that allows for First and Second Stage trigger adjustment, and an SWA recoil pad. The automotive grade glass-filled nylon all-weather stock features a large thumbhole to enhance accuracy, and it comes with a 3-9x40 air gun scope and a 5-year warranty. Barrel is a patented polymer jacketed steel and the stock is automotive-grade, glass-filled nylon for all-weather abilities.
