Crossbow leader TenPoint Crossbow Technologies unveiled its new Alpha-Nock at the 2019 ATA Show. Designed specifically for TenPoint’s ultra-narrow 2019 crossbow line-up, the Alpha-Nock features a deep bow string channel, a large smooth radius base and elongated “ears”. The string on TenPoint’s extremely narrow crossbows wraps tightly around the Alpha-Nock to yield straight-nock travel and precision down-range accuracy, while minimizing string serving wear.
The Alpha-Nock’s deep channel design increases the string-to-nock engagement and “holds” the bowstring in place during the shot which prevents “shoot-over” or “shoot-under”.
The Alpha-Nock is also available in a lighted Alpha-Brite version. The three-piece Alpha-Brite Lighted Nock System begins with a nock receiver insert with a six-sided interior cavity designed to accept a combined LED Unit and translucent pegged Alpha-Brite Nock. The Nock Receiver glues into the nock-end of the arrow and must be indexed or aligned with the vanes.
To complete the Alpha-Brite installation, insert the LED Unit – lighted end first – into the peg end of the Alpha-Brite Nock and insert the Nock and LED Unit into the Nock Receiver. Then, insert the nock tabs between the receiver’s locking clips until you hear/feel it “click” into place. When you fire your crossbow, the bowstrings force will compress the two pieces, eliminate the gap, and activate the LED.
To deactivate the Alpha-Brite System, remove the Nock and LED Unit, and pull the lighted end of the LED Unit until the light is off. The LED Unit’s battery should last for approximately eight hours.
The Alpha Nock is available with EVO-X Center Punch Premium Carbon Arrows (.001” Straightness) and Pro Elite Carbon Arrows (.003” Straightness).
TenPoint Crossbow Technologies is 100% USA owned, operated, and all of their crossbow models are manufactured in Mogadore, Ohio.
