Opening weekend harvest totals 51,365 deer

Lab confirms second hunter’s deer CWD positive

A 1.5-year-old buck, harvested in October in Sidney Township of Montcalm County, has been confirmed positive for Chronic Wasting Disease by the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, Iowa.
