Wicked Ridge RDX 400

Starting under $800, the reverse-draw RDX 400 is a perfectly balanced crossbow that measures only 9-inches wide and shoots up to a lightning fast 400 fps.

“The RDX 400 offers perfect balance and incredible performance at an affordable price point,” said Ten-Point CEO Rick Bednar. “The Wicked Ridge brand has been built on American Made value and the RDX 400 is the best model yet. The reverse draw technology elevates the Wicked Ridge line-up and gives it a true flagship model.”

The RDX 400’s ultra-narrow bow assembly measures a remarkable 9-inches wide. Its machined, lightweight aluminum riser is fitted with the company’s Over-the-Top limb pocket that both separates and isolates the limbs from direct contact with the riser to reduce sound and vibration. The pockets hold the bow’s 12-inch limbs that are powered by the Reaper Cam System.

Its stock assembly features the company’s lightweight Fusion RX stock. Molded from glass filled polypro-pylene and configured with optimal comb-height and length-of-pull, the stock features cutouts in the butt stock to reduce weight and improve balance. In addition, rubber safety wings on top of the crossbow’s fore-grip help prevent a shooter’s fore-grip fingers and thumb from moving above the flight deck while shooting the crossbow.

The RDX 400’s 19.5-inch synthetic barrel is fitted with a 4-inch bullpup version of its 3 1/2-pound auto engaging trigger. Its weaver-style dovetail is fitted with a nylon-filament arrow retention brush that improves arrow grip and alignment and reduces noise and vibration.  Like all Wicked Ridge models, the trigger assembly is also equipped with a trigger safety and DFI (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor).

A string stop system is included in the bow package and fits into the end of the barrel to further reduce noise and vibration.

The bow and stock assemblies combine to create a perfectly balanced crossbow that weighs 7.1 pounds, measures only 33.5 inches long (w/o stirrup) and shoots up to a blistering 400 feet-per-second.

Equipped with either the ACUdraw or Rope Sled cocking device and TenPoint’s Multi-Line Scope, the RDX 400 is double-dip fluid imaged in Mossy Oak Break-Up Country.

The model sells only as a complete package that includes the cocking device, scope, three arrows, string stop system, and a quiver.

RDX 400 MSRP:
$759.99 with Rope Sled
$859.99 with ACUdraw
