Scott Archery Verge

Scott Archery introduces a new hybrid release that functions as a back-tension style release in a versatile index finger design featuring maximum comfort.

Over the years, more and more archers have gravitated to executing shots with their back muscles involved and understand the importance of proper shooting mechanics.

“The Verge really decreases the steep learning curve that can be involved when transitioning to a back tension/ hinge release and greets the demand from shooters wanting a hybrid style release,” Josh Sidebottom, COO said.

New for 2022, the Verge is the culmination of nearly two years of research, design and testing and includes input from some of the country’s top professional archers.

Long-time finger shooter Lewis Holmes said, “The Verge is an index finger release with the mental benefits of a hinge. This release will change the mental game for hunters while achieving that pinpoint accuracy that target archers and hunters expect.”

With the ability to create a custom feel, the Verge’s adjustable, two finger trigger design allows archers the ability to execute a shot with numerous finger placement options. The Verge’s single-sear mechanics not only has adjustable travel settings but also offers the ability to add a pre-shot click option to create a custom-tailored shot.

The slim, auto-return, open-hook design features a pivoting swivel connector to reduce torque while anchoring for maximum accuracy while the NCS Strap accommodates all hand sizes.

“The unique design puts the Verge in a class of its own. With 360 degrees of rotation, the pivoting swivel and auto return hook design virtually eliminates torque and brings accuracy to the next level through comfort and perfect shot repeatability,” Professional shooter Nathan Brooks explains.
