Wicked Ridge Raider 400

Designed and engineered by industry leader TenPoint, Wicked Ridge Crossbows recently launched their new Raider 400 De-Cock crossbow featuring the revolutionary ACUdraw De-Cock and D1 Trigger. The lowest-priced safe de-cocking crossbow on the market, the ultra-lightweight Raider 400 De-Cock combines the convenience of de-cocking and speeds up to 400 fps at unheard of pricing at $799.

“If you’ve owned a crossbow for more than a few years, the Raider 400 De-Cock makes it obsolete,” said TenPoint CEO Rick Bednar. “We all know the inconvenience of carrying a target to discharge your arrow or shooting it into the ground after the hunt – the Raider 400 combines the convenience of de-cocking and speeds up to 400 feet-per-second at a price-point affordable to all hunters.”

The new ACUdraw De-Cock silent cocking and safe de-cocking system features the company’s Auto-Brake Gear System that eliminates the potential of losing control which can lead to injury or costly bow damage during the de-cocking process. While de-cocking with the ACUdraw De-Cock, the user can remove their hand from the handle at any point and the handle will stop in place.

In addition, the easy-to-operate ACUdraw De-Cock reduces the effort required to cock the crossbow to just 5 pounds and is equipped with a 1,000-pound strength Nylon strap to reduce wear and abrasion.

The new D-1 Trigger is Wicked Ridge’s smoothest trigger ever. This two-stage, zero-creep design includes a new DFP (Dry-Fire-Prohibitor) and delivers a consistent crisp, 3.5-pound pull. The simple push of a button moves the trigger to de-cock mode and allows the user to safely de-cock the crossbow with the built-in ACUdraw De-Cock crank cocking device or to manually de-cock the crossbow with a traditional rope-cocker.

The Raider 400 De-Cock features a powerful 185-pound bow assembly consisting of a lightweight cast aluminum riser and machined aluminum limb pockets fitted with 11” WRX double-laminated limbs. Powered by speed designed, 5S Cams and DynaFLIGHT 97 string and cables, the bow assembly measures a narrow 15-inches wide and drives an arrow down-range up to a blazing 400 feet-per-second.

The Raider 400 De-Cock features the new TACtical X stock. Molded from glass filled polypropylene and configured with optimal comb-height and length-of-pull, the stock features tactical cutouts to reduce weight and improve balance. In addition, large safety wings on top of the crossbow’s fore-grip help prevent a shooter’s fore-grip fingers and thumb from moving above the flight deck while shooting the crossbow.

Upon easy, one-bolt assembly, the design measures an easy-to-handle 31.5 inches long and weighs in at a lightweight 6.5 pounds.

Pre-sighted at the factory, the Raider 400 De-Cock is double-dip fluid imaged in the new PEAK XT camo pattern and is equipped with the revolutionary ACUdraw De-Cock silent cocking & safe de-cocking system. Its ready-to-hunt package includes a TenPoint Multi-Line Scope, three carbon arrows, and a quiver.

Raider 400 De-Cock MSRP: $799.99 with ACUdraw.
