Women Bowhunters have successful Does & Arrows hunt

-- Members of the Women Bowhunters Association met Nov. 12-15 at Master Rack Lodge, Union Springs, Ala., for their first annual  Does and Arrows bow hunt. Members had opportunity to harvest white-tailed deer, hogs, fox, coyotes and bobcats at the lodge.  Four does were taken during the weekend hunt.

The association is a grassroots organization that encourages participation of all women hunters, whether they are seasoned veterans or are making their first trip into the deer woods. The organization promotes wildlife conservation, fair chase and ethical hunting practices. Seasoned hunters mentor women new to bowhunting.
