 I know most of you hunters out there may think I’m crazy, but I can’t wait for deer season to finally be over. We’ve been going hard since September and we’re still going hard even though we just passed the midway part of January. Our season here in Alabama runs through the 31st and it can’t get here soon enough.
 We still need to take about 4 to 5 more deer to complete our TV season and the weather isn’t helping us out at all. It’s 70 plus degrees today, are you kidding me? I don’t think there’s any relief in sight. On a positive note though Jackie has taken one nice buck with a muzzleloader so far here in Alabama and I was fortunate enough to take a good buck a couple of days ago with a rifle.
The bucks are starting to rut pretty good here, we just need some nice cold weather to go a long with it! We’ll see. Wish us luck and may the season soon be over!! I’m tired people and I need some sleep!!!!!
