From Wicked Ridge Crossbows

TenPoint Crossbow Technologies, manufacturer of premium level, precision engineered crossbows, launched a new subsidiary, Wicked Ridge Crossbows.

Wicked Ridge offers two models priced under $500, both designed to outperform comparably priced crossbows.

“These crossbows are the best crossbows ever manufactured under that price level,” said CEO Rick Bednar. “They are made with components from around the world, mostly from the USA. We will quality-check, assemble, package and distribute them from our TenPoint factory, and our customers will receive exactly the same superior quality of customer service that TenPoint Crossbow’s customers have come to expect.

“The Wicked Ridge design platform is incredibly efficient,” Bednar added. “Both models include TenPoint’s patented DFI (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor) and patented 3 1/2-pound PowerTouch Trigger Technology. When you shoulder and shoot them, you can’t help but appreciate their fit, feel and function. At their price level, there is no better value.”

In addition, the company created the ACU-52 for the lineup, a new, quick-install version of its patented ACUdraw 50 integrated rope cocking mechanism.

The Invader package leads the lineup. With a $499 MSRP, the package included the new ACU-52 integrated cocking system, RIDGE-DOT 40mm, multi-dot scope, and a six-arrow quiver. The Invader is equipped with a 180-pound Alpha A quad-limb bow assembly that generates speeds in excess of 305 feet per second.

 The Warrior is equipped with a 165-pound draw weight Alpha A quad-limb bow assembly rated at 285 fps. The Warrior provides a cost-effective, precision performance alternative to the more powerful Invader. The Warrior package includes the RIDGE-DOT 40mm, multi-dot scope, and a six-arrow quiver. The bow is designed to accept the quick-install ACU-52 integrated self-retracting rope cocking system.

All Wicked Ridge crossbows are covered by a five-year warranty.
