Vermont to Hold Free Deer Hunting Seminar

-- A daylong deer hunting seminar on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Central Vermont is offered to all youth and new hunters who have passed the basic Hunter Education course.
 
The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, Orion - The Hunters Institute, Eric Nuse and the Fly Rod Shop are sponsors of this FREE event. It is designed to be a day full of useful information and tips on deer hunting techniques. Topics will include how to read sign, tracking, scouting, deer hunting ethics, safety and how to set up for success.

There will also be a seminar on Sunday, Oct. 26, on field dressing and preparing deer for consumption.

Date: October 25, 2008, rain or shine
Time: 9 a.m.-4:30 pm (bring your lunch)
Location: Fly Rod Shop, Stowe, Vermont
