-- Winners of Vermont’s muzzleloader season antlerless deer permits have just been listed on the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department’s website (vtfishandwildlife.com).
Hunters who applied for muzzleloader antlerless deer permits and will be participate in the Oct. 3-25 and Dec. 5-13 archery season may want to check the website to find out if they will be receiving a muzzleloader season antlerless permit.
As of Oct. 1, about 6,000 muzzleloader antlerless deer permits remain available in the following WMUs: A-F1-F2-K1-K2-N. Hunters may obtain un-allocated permits on the department’s website at $10 for residents and $25 for nonresidents.
The agency will provide internet access at the Waterbury office for those who want to travel to apply in person. Before making the trip, call Fish & Wildlife at (802) 241-1271 to verify which permits are still available.
