From the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
-- The more than 27,000 hunters who applied for a Utah antlerless big game hunting permit for this fall are advised to watch their e-mail closely July 14. That's when they can learn if they drew a permit to hunt doe deer in Utah this fall.
For those hunters who did not supply an e-mail address, results will be available by calling (800)221-0659 or visiting the website at http://wildlife.utah.gov/dwr/hunting.html
This will be the first time the Division will not mail notification letters to applicants.
Judi Tutorow, wildlife licensing coordinator for the Division, says most of the 27,000 applicants supplied the agency with an e-mail address. "If you don't have access to the internet, you can still get your results fast by calling the 800 number starting July 14," she said. "The phone line is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
