Twilight Shooting…Are you prepared?

Twilight Shooting…Are you prepared? One thing I thought about recently relating to simulating field hunting conditions is practicing in low-light conditions.

All of our practice in the back yard is more than likely done during daylight hours, I have never thought to shoot in twilight conditions before.

The light difference can really be dramatic with respect to target acquisition through the peep sight, not to mention how differently the pins can look.

If you are planning on adding a light to your sight that is great, but you had better practice with it before you try to line up the sights on that big buck in twilight conditions. While it may be a small thing to consider it certainly makes sense to try as you never know when that big buck will come across your path. First thing in the morning or at a last minute before shooting time is over, you want to cover all bases to make sure you are prepared.
