-- Women interested in attending the popular Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop focusing on learning skills associated with hunting and fishing and other outdoor activities can register now for the September weekend.

The workshop is an open to anyone 18 years of age or older, and provides a non-threatening atmosphere where women can learn skills that will enhance their enjoyment of outdoors.
This workshop is for you, if
• you have never tried these activities, but have hoped for an opportunity to learn.
• you are a beginner who hopes to improve your skills.
• you know how to do some of the activities, but would like to try some new ones.
• you are looking for the camaraderie of like-minded individuals.

The cost of the workshop is $195, which includes lodging for two nights and all meals. Equipment, ammunition and accessories are provided at no cost for the workshop.
The workshop begins at noon Friday, Sept. 17, and concludes Sunday, Sept. 19.
It will be held at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center, 15 miles west of Little Rock near Ferndale. The 228-acre center is a modern, comfortable facility in the heart of forested mountains, providing an ideal location for learning outdoor skills. Meals are provided by the 4H Center staff. The focus of the weekend is learning in a comfortable atmosphere. Participants share in the success of each group member in a non-competitive situation where each individual can learn at her own pace.
