Whats you're guy's opinion on powerbelt bullets? What grain of powder and also the grain of the bullet would you recommend for deer. I shoot deer not more than 80 yards.

what cal.of ml are you shoting?if it's a 50cal.i would suggest the 245gr or the 295gr.i shoot the 295 hp with 100gr of pyrodex out of a traditions in-line.it keeps 1''groups at 100yds.scoped.haven't tried more powder even though it will take up to 150 gr of powder for 200yds.i have shot these for several years with really good results on coyotes and deer.

ive been using them for a couple years in my 45 mag, shoot a 75 lb hog with them and they definantly did the job, every one i hunt with uses them in 45s and 50s, cant get any better than powerbelt
