the weather is about 40 degrees is it too cold for catfish my uncle said no but... i dont know if he is right

Catfish do not hibernate they're just not as active in cold water then they are in warm water . U can fish for cats give it a go they still have to feed. Go for deep structure and holes where the water temp will be the warmest. Fish the bottom with dead bait
