Killed a 160 lb 8 point last evening, using a Winchester mod. 70 in .270 with Winchester 130 grain power point ammo. Dropped him at 80 yards with a shot into the crevice between shoulder and chest as he was facing me, slightly quartering to my left. This was my fourth buck this year, and the first one in hard horn. His neck was starting to swell, and there was just a slight stain on the hocks. The really neat thing was that just yesterday morning I had gotten pics of him off of two different trail cams, from Saturday and Sunday.
