Sight-in opportunities available to Nebraska hunters

From the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission

-- Hunters will have opportunities to sight-in their equipment before taking to the field this fall, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

The following is a list of sites offering this opportunity:

Ponca State Park (archery only) – Sept. 8-9; 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; park entry permit required; (402) 755-2284.

Columbus Rifle and Pistol Club – Oct. 18, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; donation suggested; contact Len Clark at (402) 564-2471.

Bluffs Shooters, Scottsbluff – Oct. 10 and Oct. 31, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; donation suggested; contact Danny Staman at (308) 632-8305.

Izaak Walton League, Lincoln – Oct. 18, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; $5 per gun; contact Wes Sheets at (402) 464-9040.

Logan Valley Shooting Club, Uehling – Oct. 11 and Oct. 25, 1-5 p.m.; donation suggested; contact Theresa Pronske at (402) 567-2585.
