Buckmasters lost a proud supporter, faithful colleague and wonderful friend this week in the passing of Scent-Lok's Mike Andrews.
Anyone who has watched Buckmasters' television shows for the past 16 years will recognize Mike from the many hunts he has shared with us.
Buckmasters founder and CEO Jackie Bushman said, "Not only did Buckmasters and the entire hunting community lose a great supporter this week, but I lost a close and longtime personal friend.
"Mike was part of the Buckmasters family, not just for me, but to our many cameramen, editors, marketing staff and other employees who got to know him and became close to him.
"He spent a lot of time with us, sharing our hunting camps for more years than I can remember, certainly in the very early years of Buckmasters' existence.
"In fact, our cameramen were recently planning for Mike to hunt with us again this year, and he was excited about doing the trip. It's hard to fathom he won't be back in the field with us this season.
"We are honored to have watched his son Nick grow up over the years. I can truly say his father was one of the good guys in this industry. That speaks volumes about Mike's character.
"God got a good guy this week, a REALLY good guy.
"It's been tough on us, and I hope everyone will please keep Mike's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.
"Mike, on behalf of everyone at Buckmasters, we miss you, buddy."
