From the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission

-- Annual  public hearings on proposed fishing, hunting and trapping regulation changes in North Carolina begin Jan. 4.

For a schedule of the upcoming hearings, visit the website at http://www.ncwildlife.org/CommInfoContacts/Commission_Public_Hearing_Schedule.htm.

Proposals are online at http://www.ncwildlife.org/Regs/documents/Public_Hearing_Book.pdf and printed copies will be available at each hearing.

If unable to attend a public hearing, residents can submit comments online at  https://www.ncwildlife.org/apps/proposedregulations/Main.aspx , or by mail to N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission at 1701 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, N.C. 27699-1701.

Resident participation is an important component of the rule making process, and input helps the Commission make decisions that best conserve wildlife resources.
