Hadley Creek Outfitters offers high quality archery and (a limited number of) firearm hunts on over 30,000 privately owned acres of prime whitetail deer habitat in what is arguably the premier whitetail big-buck hunting area in the U.S. . . . west central Illinois,

Pike and Adams Counties. The acreage is a carefully managed blend of 70% timber and 30% agricultural with over 3,000 acres of corn, beans, buck forage, alfalfa, clover and rye, food plots specifically for our deer.
There are now over 4,000 top-of-the-line portable, ladder and enclosed ground stands strategically placed for all wind directions. This allows the flexibility needed to keep the pressure off our deer. Hadley Creek guides are seasoned and knowledgeable. They are accomplished hunters themselves and know their specific hunting areas very well.

Our grounds have been under quality deer management for many years and we now strictly enforce a 140 P & Y (gross) minimum with a $1,000 fee for bucks that fall below that standard. Hadley Creek has multiple tracts of land, several thousand contiguous acres each, that allows us to improve the trophy quality of our deer herd year after year.

There are outfitters that set 130, 140 and even 150 point harvest minimums for their hunts, but on free ranging whitetails, unless they have large blocks of exclusively managed land their minimums are more effective for selling hunts than for producing trophy bucks.

We have four lodges which are located for easy access to our hunting areas. They are modern, comfortable and well decorated with many different mounts including plenty of Hadley Creek Whitetails. Don't expect to lose any weight on your trip as there's always more than enough to eat and we sometimes hear it's a tossup as to whether our hunters return for the trophy whitetails or the home-cooked meals.
