New GA regulations include online quota hunt changes

From Georgia Department of Natural Resources

-- Georgia’s 2012-2013 Hunting Seasons and Regulations Guide is now available online and in print. It provides information on season dates, bag limits, hunting licenses, wildlife management areas, quota hunts, youth opportunities and much more.

It can be viewed, downloaded and printed at www.gohuntgeorgia.com/hunting/regulations.

A notable change for the new online quota hunt system means all quota hunt applications must be submitted through the new online system. This includes all previous paper-based including Adult/Child, Dove, Feral Hog, Dog-Deer and Quail quota hunts. Wheelchair hunts are not included in the online system.

Printed copies are also available at Wildlife Resources Game Management and Law Enforcement offices and license vendors throughout Georgia.

For more information on Georgia hunting seasons and regulations, contact a local Wildlife Resources Division, Game Management Office, call Hunter Services at (770) 761-3045 or visit www.gohuntgeorgia.com/hunting/regulations.
