Nebraska to Hold Mountain Hunting Class for Adults

From Nebraska Game and Parks Commission

-- The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a hunter education class in Lincoln, Neb., on March 8 and 9 for adults who will be going out of state this fall to hunt in the mountains.

The class is designed for adults who are required to have a firearm hunter education class to hunt in another state meet that requirement, even though they are not required to attend a hunter education class to hunt in Nebraska.

The class will also present information and skills hunters need to hunt in an extreme environment that aren't necessary to hunt in Nebraska.

The class will be 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission boating area at Northeast Commercial Complex, 4817 N. 56th St., Ste. No. 1. Registration is required. Call (402) 471-6134, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday to register.
