-- Volunteers in the Chadron area looking to get involved with hunter education may be trained as apprentice instructors by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission on Aug. 19.

There will be firearm instructor training from 6-9 p.m. at Chadron State Park's Duplex No. 106, 15951 U.S. Highway 385. Enroll by contacting Hunter Education Coordinator Mike Streeter at (402) 471-6134 or mike.streeter@nebraska.gov before Aug. 18.
