From the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission
-- The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission voted for a Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) notice of intent at the April 2 meeting.
The notice of intent would allow DMAP participants known as cooperators who are large landowners owning over 10,000 acres, to enroll additional non-contiguous acreage into the program as sub-cooperators.
Sub-cooperators would be subject to the same requirements, rules and regulations as cooperators, but would not be subject to the $25 enrollment fee.
