Most Versatile SxS is Assembled in U.S.A.
Yamaha Outdoors is more involved in the world of hunting than any other ATV or Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicle manufacturer, and that experience shows in its vehicles. The 2012 Rhino 700 FI is the most versatile and off-road capable SxS on the market with real world toughness — and it is assembled in the U.S.A. at Yamaha’s state-of-the-art Newnan, Georgia, factory.
The Rhino has an automotive style cab, thick bucket seats and a long-travel suspension system to smooth out rough off-road rides. The fully independent four-wheel suspension with double wishbones on the front and rear deliver 7.3 inches of wheel travel and 12.1 inches of ground clearance adding to the vehicle’s comfort and off-road capabilities.
The 2012 Rhino is powered by a 686cc liquid-cooled, four-valve SOHC engine with big torque and smooth acceleration in Hi, Low or Reverse gears. Yamaha’s Fuel Injection provides unmatched performance and dependability even at high elevation and in cold conditions. The Rhino’s Ultramatic automatic transmission system features an exclusive centrifugal clutch that allows the drive belt to remain under constant tension providing another key point of durability — proven to be the most durable in the industry.
A number of standard extras add to the vehicle’s creature comforts, and Yamaha offers more than 100 official accessories for the Rhino line. Its 12-volt accessory outlet easily receives a GPS device, spotlight or even a cell phone charger, and the digital LCD multi-function display features a speedometer, odometer, dual trip meter, clock, fuel gauge and gear position display. The 7.9 gallon fuel tank holds enough gas for hours of riding.
Yamaha’s Rhino has a standard two-inch receiver and is capable of towing up to 1,212 pounds while the cargo bed is capable of carrying 400 pounds. The cargo bed has an assisted dump function with tilt levers on both sides of the bed.
The 2012 Yamaha Rhino is available in Hunter Green, Steel Blue and Realtree AP camouflage.
