Bohning shaft prep solution is now available in a shaker bottle. SSR powder gives you more concentrated cleaning power and makes shaft prep faster & easier. Simply sprinkle SSR powder on damp scratch pad and lightly scrub shafts. Rinse with hot water and let air dry. You are now ready to fletch or crest your shafts!

The non-abrasive cleaner in SSR creates a more adhesive-friendly surface, and our tests have shown it outperforms other cleaners when used with a scratch pad.

Still want to soak your aluminum, carbon or fiberglass arrow shafts? SSR is all about total flexibility. Simply mix 1/2 tsp. of SSR with 1 pint of hot water to create the soaking solution. Bohning’s SSR is the reccomended prep method for all shaft styles.
