The 2013 Grizzly 700 coming out of Yamaha’s Georgia plant has textured plastic body panels that increase durability and decrease wear over the life of the machines. Maxxis tires with a tough, aggressive tread pattern add to the machine’s unmatched performance in extreme terrain. The suspension includes gas charged rear shocks with a high quality damping feel and bump absorption. The front suspension has also been updated and optimized to match the rear.
“Yamaha’s ATV production transfer to the Georgia factory represents the company’s long term commitment to the U.S. ATV market as well as its significant investment in the YMMC facility,” said Steve Nessl, Yamaha’s ATV/SxS group marketing manager. “Yamaha’s U.S. factory is state-of-the-art with highly trained and passionate U.S. workers who are turning out the most durable and reliable ATV and SxS products. Yamaha is proud to bring more ATV production to the U.S. – the world’s largest ATV market – and to be part of the local community in Newnan.”
This Grizzly 700’s many features create an unmatched package for real-world use. Yamaha’s EPS system has the perfect balance of light steering and allowing the rider to still feel feedback from the terrain. Its Ultramatic automatic transmission system is the industry’s toughest with the most natural feeling all-wheel engine braking. Yamaha’s three-way On-Command system, featuring 2WD, 4WD and 4WD with differential lock options, provides all-four-wheel-drive putting the rider in control at the push of a button.
The full-featured Yamaha also has electric fuel injection, an open gate shifter with high, low, neutral, reverse and park, an easy to see multifunction LCD display and a SecureMount rack system that easily fits Yamaha Genuine Accessories like gun boots and gear bags. This big bore can haul 1,322 pounds while carrying 99 pounds on the front rack and 187 pounds on the rear.
The 2013 Grizzly 700 FI is also available without EPS and comes standard in Hunter Green, Steel Blue and Realtree AP Camouflage.
