Easton Technical Products, the industry leader in innovative arrows and archery equipment, launches new Easton brand logo geared specifically toward the hunting market.
In 1922, Doug Easton used the geometric outline of his precisely handcrafted broadheads to create the first Easton arrow logo the legendary Diamond. Over the next 70 years the Easton logo underwent various changes as diamond logo evolved into the "Diamond E" and became renowned throughout the world as the ultimate symbol of precise accuracy in archery arrows.
In the 1990's, the brand again, moving it into the new century with a forward look and emphasis on a bold statement.
For 2013 Easton has announced the next generation Easton logo that will be used on the full line of Easton's bowhunting arrows and accessories.
Shane Michelli, Easton President, said "During the summer of 2012, we convened a Marketing Summit with professionals from all areas of the hunting market and outdoor industry to look at our brand and identify opportunities as we look to take Easton to the next level."
One of the main items identified was that a mark was needed geared to the hunting enthusiast.
Easton's design team took that information and worked to balance the goal of keeping brand equity and recognition but at the same time address the objectives identified at the summit meeting.
"Ultimately I feel like our marketing team met the goal of creating a logo that will speak to and connect with the hunter." Michelli continued.
