From Darton Archery
Darton Archery is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2010. Instead of wasting time and energy into throwing parties, Darton has focused on making the bow archers have been dreaming of: a fast, shootable bow that doesn’t dislocate your shoulder when attempting to draw or hold at anchor. The 60th year anniversary bow from Darton is the Pro 3800QL.
At first glance, the 3800QL looks different from other recent Darton offerings. The newly designed laminated, pre-loaded, quad limb design powers the newest DualSync cam system designed by Rex Darlington to a new level of performance.
This cam design has evolved to address the shortcomings of other speed bows. The bow’s draw cycle starts out smooth and easy and doesn’t require a membership at your local gym to hit peak weight.
Another major improvement the 3800QL exhibits is the valley at full draw. Many speed bows are unforgiving if the archer creeps at all, leading to missed opportunities and injured shoulders. Darton’s 3800QL valley allows for a margin of error if you creep at full draw. Your shot is saved; your game harvested.
The 3800 has all the premium features hunters have come to expect from Darton, a lightweight precision machined aluminum riser, premium Scorpion pre-stretched bowstring to hold tune and eliminate peep rotation, bowstring noise suppression system, straight nock travel and patented tuning marks on the cams to allow easy maintenance for peak performance from its DualSync cam system. Module draw length adjustment optimizes performance at every draw length and doesn’t require a bow press.
Darton offers the 3800QL in 50, 60, and 70 pounds with a draw range of 25-31 inches. Darton has engineered the 3800QL with a forgiving 6-inch brace height and a comfortable 33 13/16-inch axle to axle.
We almost forgot to mention, IBO speeds of 345-350 feet per second.
The Pro 3800QL is Darton’s best “Built to Hunt” bow to date. Don’t miss out on the bow that has the rest of the industry wondering how a bow can be so fast and so easy to shoot.
