Colorado public meeting to discuss deer/elk hunts Sept. 28

-- The Colorado Division of Wildlife will host a public meeting Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.  to discuss the management of deer and elk hunting units in the South Fork area. The meeting will take place at the Carnegie Library, 0031 Mall Street, South Fork.

The DOW is seeking public comments and recommendations during this meeting as a new Data Analysis Unit (DAU) management plan will be discussed for DAUs 36 and 34 which include Game Management Units (GMUs) 76, 79 and 791 for deer and 76 and 79 for elk.
