Colin Boothe of Harrisonburg, La., leads the Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship after the third round of shooting concluded Friday night.
A veteran of the Buckmasters event, Boothe said he attributes his good shooting to not thinking too much.
You just have to react, he said. You cant out-think this course.
Its been an emotional tournament for Boothe thus far. His mother is in very poor health but told her son to go and beat up on everybody at the event.
When I shot this event for the first time many years ago, I knew immediately that I had found my game, Booth said. This is closer to hunting than any other shooting event, and I just love it. Its been rough with my moms health, but she told me to get down here and shoot, so thats what Im doing.
