Expo Homecoming a Triumph

PhotoBy Darren Thornberry

-- After a three-year absence in Montgomery, Ala., the Buckmasters Expo presented by Yamaha, returned in style Aug. 15-17 to the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center. Approximately 30,000 eager hunters walked through the doors, bringing 40,867 pounds of food for the Montgomery Area Food Bank with them.

The Expo offered something for everyone - a Young Bucks kids area with games just like the ones seen on "The Jackie Bushman Show," the thrilling Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship, 300 exhibitor booths offering preseason deals on hunting gear, seminars by renowned hunting experts Michael Waddell, Larry Weishuhn, Lee & Tiffany Lakosky, and Fred Eichler, a members-only concert featuring the Charlie Daniels Band and Johnny Lee, and a wall of whitetail racks scored by certified antler measurers.
