-- After a three-year absence in Montgomery, Ala., the Buckmasters Expo presented by Yamaha, returned in style Aug. 15-17 to the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center. Approximately 30,000 eager hunters walked through the doors, bringing 40,867 pounds of food for the Montgomery Area Food Bank with them.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Tom Pruitt of Stotts City, Mo., led the pack of 49 archers after Friday's first and second rounds of competition during the 2008 Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Tom Pruitt of Stotts City, Mo., was the only archer to accumulate more than 700 points during the first four rounds of competition at the 2008 Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship.

-- MONTGOMERY, Ala. 8/17/08 - Skipper Booth of Tuscaloosa, Ala., beat Tom Boatwright 162-137 in the final round of the 2008 Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor World Championship.

As a result, Booth bagged a $25,000 payday from Buckmasters and an additional $10,000 from Mathews bows, which is one of the champion's sponsors.
