-- Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., the leading maker of ATV and Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicles for outdoorsmen, is making the industry-leading 2009 Rhino 700 FI and Rhino 450 SxS vehicles available this summer. The Rhino, a favorite for many hunters, will be in Yamaha dealerships across the country starting in June - just in time for the 2008 fall hunting season.
"Traditionally, the Rhino was available later in the year due to production timing, and we had hunters asking for earlier delivery so they could ramp up for the fall season," said Steve Nessl, Yamaha ATV/SxS group marketing manager. "Hunting and the outdoors are a big part of our company's focus, and we're extremely pleased to be able to offer the 09 Rhino earlier this year."
The Rhino 700 FI Automatic 4x4 gained some significant changes and upgrades in 2008 and it carries those features over into the new 2009 models. The 700's all-new engine and other features like fuel injection, 4-wheel hydraulic disc braking and an over-all quieter, smoother ride continue to push the Rhino to the top of hunters' wish list.
The 2009 Rhino 700 FI will hit dealerships starting in June 2008 and come in Hunter Green, Realtree AP HD Camouflage and Steel Blue. A Ducks Unlimited version will also come in Realtree AP, and other special editions will be offered in Red, Black Metallic, Brushed Silver and Red Midnight Armor. MSRP for the standard Hunter Green or Steel Blue colors starts at $10,699.
The Rhino 450 SxS combines many great Rhino features in a value packed model. It comes standard with three-position On-Command In/Out 4WD (2WD, 4WD and fully locked differential 4WD); Yamaha-exclusive Ultramatic automatic transmission system; and hunter-favorite features like the assisted dump bed and more than 100 Yamaha parts and accessories.
The 2009 Rhino 450, also arriving at dealerships starting in June, comes in Hunter Green and Red (MSRP $8,499) and Realtree AP HD Camouflage (MSRP $9,049).
