TriSquare's eXRS is the Future of Two-Way Radio From TriSquare Electronics Corp.
-- TriSquare is using International CES to showcase its new line of eXRS digital two-way radios. eXRS (eXtreme Radio Service) is the new two-way radio system that uses proprietary Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology to provide private and secure communications.
Unlike most other two-way radios, eXRS radios are license free and there are absolutely no airtime charges or fees required. With no restrictions, eXRS radios may be used by people of any age for personal and business purposes.
TriSquare offers two models of eXRS radios. The full loaded model, the TSX300, provides advanced features such as text messaging, caller ID and Wireless Cloning. The TSX300 has 10 billion different channels available to the user, so busy channels in crowded areas are a thing of the past. Text Messaging is made easy with the use of the backlit 10-digit keypad and the dot matrix display. The unit also includes a 10-channel NOAA weather receiver.
The lower cost TSX100 gives users the eXRS benefits of secure communications without the advanced features of the TSX300. The TSX100 has 1,000 channels and is compatible with the TSX300 on those channels. Both radios have phone book style contact lists for storing other users' information, call signaling and more.
