Horton Goes Vertical in 2008 With Ascent Compound Bow

Horton ManufacturingFrom Horton Manufacturing Co.

-- Horton Manufacturing Company, known for its crossbows, launched head first into the vertical bow market with the Ascent which features a 30-inch axle to axle length and 310 F.P.S. I.B.O. speed and four additional models.

Thanks to its compact size, the Ascent is effective from the ground and in a treestand. The Horton OS3 Cam System is easy to tune and has eight inches of draw length adjustment. The self-timing features on the OS Cam allows for more shooting and less tuning. The Ascent's ergonomic grip and riser design allow exceptional accuracy in a compact system.

The bow also features a T60-61 machined aluminum riser with seven inches of brace height; Gordon thermal composite limbs; 65-80 percent left-off with adjustable pro-stop; Realtree hardwoods HD finish; Horton VT Custom strings with no twist, no creep and longer life; custom wood grip; 10 pound weight adjustment and more.
