-- Slug hunters looking for that "next best load" can look no further now that Winchester has announced its new Supreme 3-inch Rackmaster 12-gauge shotgun slug.

The new 1-1/8 ounces 3-inch Rackmaster Slug provides increased velocity and greater lethal range. With a velocity of 1,700 feet per second (fps), this high-accuracy shotgun slug is designed to bring new levels of on-target performance to your favorite slug shotgun.

This new 3-inch long-range slug features the innovative Winglide(tm) stabilizer, which was specifically engineered to improve in-bore alignment and enhance down range accuracy. 

The 3-inch slug is part of a complete line of Supreme Rackmaster Rifled Slug loads for 12-gauge shotguns. The Rackmaster Slug provides hunters with increased versatility, with the option to use either smooth bore or fully-rifled slug barrels, or a rifled choke tube.

Rackmaster Slug features include:
* Muzzle velocity of 1,700 fps
