-- Nikon's flagship Monarch riflescope line now features three new scope options to fit a variety of rifles and hunting scenarios.
The Monarch 2-8X32 is compact, lightweight and ideal for short actions, carbines and mountain rifles. The 4-16X50SF features a large objective and offers superior performance in low light, making it ideal for hunting food plots. The 8-32X50ED SF is the first riflescope to incorporate Nikon's exclusive and legendary ED glass. Nikon ED glass delivers superior sharpness and color correction for unmatched detail resolution. The Monarch 8-32X50ED SF is perfect for extreme long range hunting and target shooting.
While still maintaining the one-inch diameter main body tube, Nikon engineers developed the Monarch series to not only provide the shooter with a big, bright, sharp sight picture, but at the same time minimize the overall length of the riflescope - and maximize the mount ring spacing capability.
All Monarch riflescope models utilize Nikon's precise, repeatable, hand-turn reticle adjustments and feature the company's Interchangeable Turret Technology system, which allows shooters to switch out turret knobs and caps for maximum convenience and versatility.
Nikon mates its patented BDC reticle to every Monarch riflescope model to allow hunters to hold "dead-on" at ranges exceeding those previously thought possible. The BDC's unique see-through ballistic circles offer an incredible advantage for long range shooting - yet allow a normal sight picture for shorter-range shots where the crosshair itself is the aiming point.
Suggested retail pricing for the new Monarch riflescopes with BDC reticle: 2-8X32 $299.95, 4-16X50SF $499.95 and for the 8-32X50ED SF $699.95. Suggested retail pricing with Nikoplex: 2-8X32 $289.95, 4-16X50SF $489.95 and for the 8-32X50ED SF $698.95.
