Scent-Lok Vertigo system is a revolutionary concept in the blending of two different camo patterns for maximum effectiveness. The parka, pant, and head cover feature strategically designed contrasting camo patterns in light and dark regions of the garment to help hunters blend into their surroundings in a more effective way. Scent-Lok designers specifically have created large blocks of contrast and counter shading that will virtually destroy the silhouette or human outline, making it much harder for deer to identify. Alternating colors of light and dark contrast mimics the dark on light pattern of tree canopy and the sky, making the human silhouette nearly invisible in peripheral vision.

Deer studies have shown that whitetails use peripheral vision to assess danger at all levels. Irregular shapes often cause deer to sharply focus on unnatural shapes, especially when contrasted against the light sky background. The new Scent-Lok Vertigo products soften the contrast and helps blend the hunter’s body into the branches and natural contour of trees and vegetation. The result is a remarkably effective product design that obscures the hunters’ image.

Scent-Lok Vertigo products incorporate a strategic placement of contrasting and blended Mossy Oak camo patterns from the Break-Up family that confuses the eye and help break up the human silhouette from below. Darker sections of the garment blend amazingly well with branches and foliage and the lighter pattern matches typical color tones of daytime sky coloration.
