From Danner
-- The Ghost GTX boot is Danner’s newest offering of an extreme, overbuilt hunting boot with premium features. Designed for comfort and protection over the most treacherous terrains, the Ghost is available with varying levels of insulation available to meet any weather conditions.
The Ghost owes its origins to the Pronghorn, unprecedented in popularity, and comes in a new Cordura camo, GORE-TEX SCENT-LOK liner package. The Cordura fabric outer is extremely tough and resistant to abrasions, tears and scuffs. It also provides for an extremely lightweight boot and improved breathability. The GORE-TEX SCENT-LOK liner blocks odors to ensure stealth on the hunt, while maintaining breathability and durable waterproof protection.
Like its Pronghorn predecessor, the Ghost features Danner’s proprietary TERRA FORCE rigid platform and claw-like Predator TF outsole for sure grip on the most treacherous terrain.
Varying levels of Thinsulate Ultra Insulation and an array of camo choices means there’s a Ghost that’s right for any weather condition and any environment. The Ghost comes in an uninsulated style in Realtree AP HD camo; 400 G. Thinsulate Ultra Insulation with Mossy Oak Break-Up camo; and 800 G. Thinsulate Ultra Insulation featuring Realtree AP HD camo.
The top-of-the line Ghost is available in men’s sizes 7-14 D and 8-13 EE with half-sizes available to size 12. The boot is available at retail in July 2009 for the fall season. New fall 2009 Ghost styles have a suggested retail from $169.95 - $189.95.
