Mission Archery Launches 2009 Bow Lineup

Mission Eliminator Bow
Eliminator
From Mission Archery

-- In 2006, Mathews Inc. created Mission, a new line of bows designed to appeal to quality-driven, price-conscious archers. Three years later Mission announces an exciting new lineup packed with high-performance options for bowhunters.

In addition to in-line changes that make the Buckmasters and Journey lighter than ever, Mission rounds out the 2009 lineup with the X3 and three exciting new options for bowhunters to choose from:

ELIMINATOR
The Eliminator is like no other bow in its category. It is lightweight (4.20 pounds) and offers a generous IBO speed (up to 319 fps) in a compact (30 1/4" ATA) parallel limb design. The Eliminator utilizes a straight-line cam, making it an efficient, smooth-shooting bow. With an MSRP of $479, it's the perfect option for a serious, yet price-conscious bowhunter.

Mission UX2 Bow
UX2
UX2

Based off the X3, the UX2 utilizes the all new 2CPW cam system to provide great performance and a wide range of adjustability. The UX2 is draw-length adjustable from 22 to 30 inches with no pressing required. Limb options are available to provide draw weights up to 70 pounds.

Mission Menace Bow
Menace
MENACE
The Menace is the best entry-level bow on the market. In addition to the performance-enhancing perimeter weights, the 2CPW cam system provides an ultra-wide draw length adjustability from 17 to 30 inches and incremental draw weight adjustability up to 52 pounds. Combined with a physical weight of 2.92 pounds, and an incredibly quite fire, the Menace is the perfect choice for any new bowhunter.

2CPW
This Two Cam Perimeter Weighted system is new patented technology for 2009. The addition of a weight (inertia disk) on both cams allows momentum to build gradually, resulting in a smooth release. The weights gain speed around the perimeter in opposition to the bow limbs, counteracting their momentum, thereby reducing recoil. This system is so advanced it matches the feel of typical competitors' parallel limb bows.
