-- The upgraded 2009 ARGO model line-up from Ontario Drive & Gear (ODG) features a number of new improvements to give drivers better navigation, control, performance and ride comfort. All models are available in a Mossy Oak Shadow Branch camo pattern.
All 2009 models come with a new LCD Digital Gauge Cluster that makes it easier for riders to monitor performance while out in the bush. In addition to speed and distance, the new LCD Digital Gauge Cluster includes a volt meter, low oil pressure light, parking brake reminder light as well engine coolant temperature and check engine light for liquid cooled models.
Additional features include premium padded bench seat as well as an optional new Brush Guard design featuring mounting tabs for the new optional fog lights for better visibility.
2009 ARGO 6x6 Frontier 650
The all-wheel drive ARGO 6x6 Frontier 650 is equipped with a 4-cycle overhead valve V-Twin air cooled 627 cc 23 hp Briggs & Stratton engine, carries up to four passengers, has a load capacity of up to 700 pounds and can tow 1,400 pounds.
Its dashboard is ergonomically designed and includes a one-piece handle bar steering system, cup holders, 12 V outlet, two dash mounted grab handles and all you need to navigate through challenging terrain. In addition, it has a long wheelbase for greater stability and features vented hydraulic disc brakes, an emergency/parking brake, a 20/50 amp electrical charging system and an automatic continuously variable transmission.
The custom designed 24-inch ARGO tires sport a special ARGO tread design for excellent performance on both land and water, and give the vehicle a 91/2-inch ground clearance.
2009 ARGO 8x8 Avenger 750 EFI
Driven by a powerful 31hp 748cc electronic fuel-injected Kohler LH 775 engine, the 2008 8x8 Avenger 750 EFI is just what many ARGO customers and prospective ARGO owners have been waiting for.
The 2009 8x8 Avenger 750 EFI's low emission rate meets both EPA and CARB standards. Its technological advances include an effective throttle response for smooth acceleration, improved fuel economy, reliable starting in cold weather and excellent performance in high altitudes. The fuel delivery system also manages itself without a manual choke control. On-board diagnostics ensure peace of mind and ease of maintenance.
The top-of-the-line 8x8 ARGO features 25-inch Rawhide III tires with an aggressive tread pattern and lug size, hydraulic vented disk brakes, a new emergency/parking brake, as well as excellent approach and departure angles allowing easy travel over difficult obstacles. The ARGO 8x8 Avenger is available with an optional 3.3 high ratio transmission for optimum performance with rubber tracks, seats up to six persons on land, has a load capacity of 1,150 pounds and can tow 1,800 pounds.
