-- Youths again will have a chance to win a half-price lifetime hunting or fishing permit via drawing this fall, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

They will have opportunities to enter the drawing at the following events: Nebraska State Fair, Lincoln, Aug. 28-Sept. 7; Husker Harvest Days, Grand Island, Sept. 15-17; and Missouri River Expo at Ponca State Park, Ponca, Sept. 19-20.

Nebraska youth ages 15 and under can be entered. If their name is drawn they will have the opportunity to purchase, at half-price, one of the following lifetime permits: fishing, hunting, combination fishing/hunting, habitat stamp, waterfowl stamp. Winners will be notified following a random drawing the week after the event. A youth may win only one half-price lifetime permit or stamp per drawing.

Additional drawings often are held at the local chapter banquets of conservation groups.   Print Article
