Deer Hunting at Indiana Facility Limited to Mornings

From Indiana Department of Natural Resources

-- Deer hunting at Interlake, a multi-use property in southwest Indiana, will be allowed only during morning hours of the deer firearms season.

The DNR Division of Outdoor Recreation plans to give hunters and motorized users equivalent access to the property from Saturday through Nov. 30. During that time, deer hunting will be allowed from sunrise to 10 a.m. and off-road vehicle (ORV) use from 10 a.m. to sunset.

All times given are in Eastern time.

Interlake is located in Pike and Warrick counties near Lynville. It is one of only two DNR-managed properties that offers ORV use. Horseback riding, mountain biking, boating, hiking, fishing, trapping and dog training are other uses allowed at Interlake.
