 Im currently hunting a small 80 acre plot of public land in washington state.  I am a bow hunter, anywase to the problem. The plot of land that im hunting holds zero deer beds, but is littered with trails crossing between the bedding area and large open grain fields which both are privately owned and dont allow hunting. about two weeks ago i created 3 mock scrapes using buck and doe urine, nothing estrus just regular urine, its a lil early for the rut, ive been tending the scrapes two times a week. i set up a trail cam and got something totally unexpected. i mean its not a state record or nothing, but i have around 40 pics of a nice 10 pointer working one of the scrapes which now looks like a hog was rooting there, and now a really nice rub on the trees surrounding the scrape, problem is all the pics are taken between 230and 3am. zero during shooting hours. trying to see how i can get him to come out so i can get a shot.
