| | last week we went to my buddies hog trap and had a 80-90 lb boar hog in it and I brought my crosman storm xt 1000 fps air gun and shot him in the head and he dropped right there, went back the next day and got a 60 lb boar hog with one shot to the head. havent got any more yet, Ill post the pics when I get them | |

| What type of airgun exactly is it you're using on these things? What range are they good up to? I see hogs a little too often while I'm out deer hunting and I hate waking up the woods with my 7mm just to grease one...I need something quiet (but legal and without having to register with the gov't for a silencer permit).
A high powered pellet gun would be perfect if they'd work out to about 75 - 100 yards. | | | |

| | I have the crossman storm xt break barrel shoots 1000fps from walmart, and if you shoot the raptor pellets it adds 200fps more but we killed the 1st two hogs with daisy pointed pellets, and the ranges were about 3 yrds but will shoot through a 5 gallon bucket at 23 yrds, wouldnt take a shoot at a hog any further than that | |
