Just wondering how the folks from around the state did. Between my son and my self we got 4,nothing to brag about just meat.(sure was good to)

No,we did'nt get much of a chance to hunt with it.May try it this weekend,it will be our last weekend.

1 doe 120lbs, I 8 point(5x3) 219lbs, one 6 point(small) 155lbs. One miss..one hit and couldn't find. All in Macon County close to Tallassee.

'Cuz deer huntin' ain't catch & release!

Sounds like the hunting was pretty much the same all over the state.

Me and my daughter took a doe. My son passed on a chances for a doe, but regreted it later since no bucks came our way. Pretty bad season overall. No bragging bucks to tell about and spent a lot of time in the woods with little or no sightings !!! Hope turkey season is better.

Two 8 pts and a 13 pt. and doe. First 8 on 7 Jan, second 8 on 15 Jan and 13 on 28 Jan not too bad in Tallapoosa county.
