that`s the way I usually set them up, I was wondering if I should try using a Strutting tom instead?
Went out this am , no gobbling but as I travelled to my second location I saw 3 hens and a tom in full strut ~ 100 yds from the main road and in another feild I saw two big hens taking flight from about 20 yds from the road . But there`s always the w/e.
